Dear Community:
Please pray for Britton Chobert ( my dau in law's nephew )who is having his second brain surgery today, to treat a walled off cyst in his brain which contains infection. This has been an ongoing battle for Britton and his family, having lasted from the beginning of the summer. Doctors hope to remove as much of the infection as they can and to make a way for the antibiotics to work.
Britton has seen God in all this, but it is has been hard. He is 15 and loves to be active: surfing and participating in sports. Pray for God's mercy and healing touch ( that his brain will not swell, and that the antibiotics will be able to work ) and for peace for his Mom and family.

Britton's surgery went very well, and doctors believe the infection will not return. The doctor was markedly impressed with how well the surgery went. As before, the surgery is easier than the recovery from it. The anesthesia is rough, and the recovery is hard. But the CTs are looking very good.
