Palanca Needed

We are less than a month away from Men's #57 (20-23 September) and then a week later Women's #57 sneaks right in there! Have your candidates submitted their applications? Have you checked out the Prayer Vigil?(we are less than half full!).
 Since prayer is the basis for all Palanca, the online Prayer Chain (Prayer Vigil) is our primary need:

Don't forget to mark your calendar so you don't forget what time to pray wherever you are (you should get an automatic email reminder when you sign up). If you have a groupie or know of anybody else who doesn't do email, volunteer to sign them up or contact me and I'll be glad to do it.
  
> The next priority is to feed our Pilgrims. We used to sign up for all kinds of fruits and vegetables, cheese,candy, coffee, soft drinks, and even cigarettes! (I go back a long way)
> Now we ask for GREEN FOOD PALANCA so the food purchasing team can look for the best buys leading up to the weekends. $5 will cover a breakfast or lunch, $10 for dinner or $20 for a full day. A $50 donation will cover a pilgrim for the whole weekend. > Pilgrim Guide bookcovers
> Balloon Rainbow-help construct or donate supplies

> Physical Arrangements includes:
> Mark & Load luggage at send-off
> Van or SUV to haul food/ palanca to camp at send-off
> Tear Down-(great Palanca for your Group) show up after lunch on Sunday
> Kitchen pack-up
> Move storage boxes to shed
> Sweep & Mop kitchen & dining floors
 
> Remember- on Men's weekends, men serve meals, women serenade and everybody can be chapel angels & kithchen helpers. On Women's weekends, women serve meals and men serenade.
> Rule of thumb for group made palanca: Table palanca-50 , Pillow palanca-25 pieces.

Prayers for Richard Nevitt

Decolores Brothers & Sisters,

Please lift Richard up in prayer. He has been going through some testing on his Parathyroid glands and we were notified on Wed of this week they found a nodule on his right gland and will under go a needle biopsy on Wed. Sept 5th. We know God is in control and there is power in prayer.

My niece Deb just text me the biopsy results. It is malignant follicular neo something. Tyroid and masses need to come out asap. Doctor will call her with a surgery date this afternoon. Looks like i'll be on my way to Pekin Illinios later this month. I'll let you know. Please keep Deb Allen in your prayers!

Remember, you should mark your calendars to attend the Ultreyas on the 3^rd Saturday of each month.
